LIFE
SKILLS |
| The Health and Social Education
programme is a programme which
involves personal development, health education
and social awareness.
Objectives
- To provide current information about health
care so that learners will be informed enough to
make choices and acquire the necessary skills
for a healthy lifestyle
- To explore topical and controversial social and
civil issues and to develop an awareness which
will enable them to take part in the civil
and political process during their adult life
A variety of means are employed to attempt to
achieve these aims, for example, group
discussion, experiential learning, day trips and visits from professionals and others in the field.
