Developing a profile of each client forming the basis for career path planning

Individual attention and support for clients and the capacity to develop personal trust with clients

Providing information, occupational testing and assessment for clients

Presentation of options e.g. training, education and employment to clients

Advocating on behalf of clients, for example, with trainers, course providers, employers etc

Referral to other sources for clients if necessary

Outreach and tracking of clients

Providing a link between centres and a means of identifying gaps in local service provision and overcoming barriers to promote more options for disadvantaged young people
